"TwinSpirit: Introduction to the Soul" is certainly something to shout to the world about! Not only are the lyrics inspiring, but in these uncertain times they can help soothe the weary soul. Not to mention, the music itself is on point! In other words, this album offers the listener "The Total Package"!

Last Friday was off the hook!!! I would like to thank all the poets who did their thang in holding it down UrbanSoul style. We had alot of fun!!! I would like to give a special shout out to a special performance by UrbanSoul's own DJ Prophet, Rodney Block (Trumpeteer), Cliff Aaron (Drummer), and song bird TwinSpirit (Songstress). It is said that a carpenter never leaves home without his tools. Rodney had his trumpet up his sleeves, cliff had his sticks in his back pocket and a snare drum strapped on his back and TwinSpirit had a microphone in her purse (she has a big ole purse). With DJ Prophet holdin it down with a tight beat, Rodney flowed with some smooth Jazz, Cliff kicked in the added percussion, then TwinSpirit got up and ripped the mic with smooth melodic croons. That's UrbanSoul Yall!!!

The poets were off the chain, and TwinSpirit was off the hook!!!! Sista girl got up and blessed the mic with some sexy - sultry - smooth lyrics. Just when I was about to ask her to perform that song during our celebration on the 23rd, it was revealed to me that she was doing a freestyle. It doesn't matter though - girl you just gotta do that. Ya just gotta... Talkin bout it came and it went. The sista got skillzzz...

I must admit I wasn't expecting to hear much when I was told to take a listen to this completely independently self written and self produced project. I expected the same old hum drum type music you hear across the airways... But what is this my ears do hear....I dare not think someone decided to discuss topics other than bling bling. my car and house is bigger than yours, I am the sexiest, the baddest. I was very pleasantly surprised. First by the choice of content. Then I realized hey this don't sound too bad either, As a matter of fact this is HOT. A lady on the rise for sure. Mark my words....
